Alliance Business Professionals, LLC was founded by Bryan Hart, a native Texan and disabled veteran.  After serving in the United States Air Force in support of Operation Desert Storm, Bryan obtained his B.B.A. in accounting and went to work for a CPA firm performing accounting, audits and taxes.  Bryan's experience spans across many industries, including the Department of Defense, having worked for the Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) as a Senior Auditor.  Bryan has a Masters of Science in Management from Indiana Wesleyan University.  In addition, Bryan is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), licensed in Ohio and Texas, as well as a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), licensed by the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.

Internal Revenue Service (IRS) - Internal Revenue Agent in Large and Mid-Sized Business (LMSB)

  • Conducted examinations and related investigation of income tax returns that covered a diversified spectrum of individual and business organizations. Examinations were for tax matters or compliance with other federal statutes.
  • Identified issues to be pursued based on items which had significant compliance effect and used the appropriate laws and facts to resolve these issues. Some issues were related to fraudulent activity.
  • Examined accounting systems and records including computerized accounting and financial information systems which reflected a variety of complex financial operations.
  • Performed compliance check determinations such as tax exempt qualification determinations or Bank Secrecy Act reviews.
  • Determined and prepared appropriate computations, schedules and exhibits reflecting adjustments to tax base and recomputations of tax liability, as well as, additions thereto including explanations which served to inform contesting taxpayer(s) of adjustments resulting from Appeals or Counsel's disposition of the case
